Abstract

The paper focuses on the psychometric test of two Russian adaptations ‘Personal Orientation Inventory’ by E. Shostrom. Reliability testing and validation of the adaptation datum showed the unsatisfactory results. The detected empirical structure doesn’t correspond with the theoretical construct. Thus there is a question of necessity of the creation of the reliable and valid methodology which studies the phenomenon of selfactualization.
