The article explores the phenomenon of vegetative silence as a form of autocommunication, which is contrasted with human social communication. The author analyzes philosophical, literary, and cultural aspects of human interaction with nature, focusing on the problem of anthropocentrism and the need for transition to an ecological pact based on equal dialogue with nature. The article examines the views of thinkers such as Michel Serres, Michael Marder, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Martin Heidegger, and others, as well as cites examples from literature and art that illustrate various forms of human interaction with the plant world. Special attention is paid to the role of silence as a means of expression of nature that does not require words but conveys information through chemical reactions, postures, and interactions. The author emphasizes that vegetative silence not only ontologically conditions nature but also offers a new perspective on communication where nature becomes an equal party to the dialogue. The article also explores the historical development of ideas about nature, from ancient times to modern ecological concepts. The author shows how the anthropocentric paradigm, dominant in Western philosophy and culture, has led to nature being perceived as a resource rather than an equal partner. This requires rethinking of our relationship with the environment and a search for new forms of communication that would take into account the interests of not only humans but also nature. As an example, the author cites the works of Michel Serres, who proposes abandoning the term ‘environment’ in favor of a more equitable interaction with nature. Special attention is paid to the role of silence in communication. The author demonstrates that vegetative silence is not merely the absence of sounds but a unique form of expression that requires a new approach to understanding the interaction between humans and nature. The silence of nature is not a lack of communication but a special way of expressing itself, which requires a new approach to understanding the interaction between humans and nature. In conclusion, the paper emphasizes the need for transition to an ecological pact that implies equal interaction between humans and nature, the author calls on philosophers to actively participate in the development of ecological concepts.References
