The views of N.N. Strakhov on revolution: the dispute with A.I. Herzen

Abstract

The article throws light upon the social views of Russian philosopher N.N. Strakhov. In this article is considered of Strakhov’s analysis of the Paris Commune (1871). The author voices an opinion that Strakhov attempts to oppose owen view on revolution to Herzen’s views. It is demonstrated that the Strakhov’s denial of revolution is the result of his organicism and conservative political orientations.
