Abstract

The article describes L.P. Karsavin’s theory of the historical process and its subject. L.P. Karsavin is the Russian religious philosopher, so he understands the history and its subject from an idealist position. The subject of history — is humanity, which takes its subjective properties and creativity only through integration with God, who is the supreme entity of the universe.
