The aim of the paper is a structural analysis of the methodological principle of unification and consideration of its application in the field of theoretical physics. The structure of this principle was explicated, and its ontological, epistemological and axiological foundations were demonstrated. It is shown that usage of unification principle in the framework of string theory reached a deeper conceptual level of unification, included not only the understanding of matter and its characteristics, but also concerning the concepts of space-time, and causality.References
