Abstract

The changes in the structure and optical properties of proton-exchange layers during reverse proton exchange were investigated on X cut lithium niobate. It was shown that the phase transformations in proton-exchange layers at reverse proton exchange proceed faster than during annealing at the same temperature; 1 phase particles are not formed at reverse proton exchange.
