STUDY OF CREATIVITY V.P. ASTAFIEV IN CHINA

Abstract

The article deals with the history of the study of the creativity of the Soviet and Russian prose writer V.P. Astafiev (1924-2001) in China. The summary relies on research of Chinese literary critics. The author analyzes interpretations of works by Astafiev, performed by Chinese scholars in different periods. The article examines the most representative translations of Astafiev's works, reflected in monographs and academic publications. The author provides an assessment of his works by Chinese literary critics.
