Abstract

The influence of nitrates and chlorides of non-transition metals and ammonium on the salting out of neonol AF 9-10 from aqueous solutions was studied. It has been shown that nitrates and chlorides of monovalent metals have a mainly salting-out effect, while nitrates of di- and trivalent cations increase the separation temperature of aqueous solutions of neonol AF 9-10. Based on the study of phase equilibria in the system ammonium nitrate – neonol AF 9-10 – water in the temperature range 25–80°C, option 5 of the generalized scheme of topological transformation of phase diagrams inorganic salt – ethoxylated surfactant – water with temperature changes was experimentally confirmed.
