Abstract

The electrochemical behavior of a high-purity carbon electrode in high-density aqueous solutions has been investigated. The data obtained using the methods of cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy indicate that the structure, composition and characteristics of electrolyte solutions should be taken into account when choosing a system.
