Bulletin of Perm University. CHEMISTRY has been published since 2011 and is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes  results of original research and scientific reviews on the main directions of the development of chemistry, including:
- physical and chemical analysis of water-organic and water-salt systems;
- physical and chemical foundations for obtaining new materials;
- directed synthesis synthesis of organic compounds with different properties;
- the processes of complexation of metal ions with organic ligands and the use of complex compounds in the processes of separation and concentration;
- electrochemical and corrosion protection processes.

The journal is published 4 times a year, articles are accepted year-round in Russian or English. All incoming manuscripts undergo one-sided blind peer review, no publication fee is charged, and no royalties are paid. Full texts of articles are available on the website of the journal in the public domain. The printed version of the magazine is distributed free of charge and by subscription.
