The article structure logic as well as the treatment of gathered facts involves the methods of empirical political science, as well as the method of event analysis. The conclusion that the opposition in the DRC is a weak link in the political process, is made. The opposition is divided, its leaders are characterized by high ambitiousness, which hampers them from developing a common political platform.
