Youth political extremism: causes and forms

The article deals with such scientific categories as youth extremism and radicalism; comparative analysis of scientific approaches is provided. Today, youth extremism holds a specific place among the global socio-political issues. There is a great danger of extremism, not only for our country but for the entire international community. Extremism causes significant harm to the processes of political socialization, has a considerably negative impact on a young person’s "sense of security", undermining the foundations of security and stability for society and the state.
