Abstract

The article analyzes the role of institutional transformations in the American Political Science Association and the influence of its executive director Evron Kirkpatrick on the behavioral revolution of the 1950-1960s. On the basis of a wide range of resources, the state of the Association, its reformation in the 1940-1960s, and activity of Evron Kirkpatrick as its executive director are described. Addition-ally, the impact these factors had on the development of the behavioral movement and behavioralism becoming a dominant approach in the American political science is revealedDOI: 10.17072/2218-1067-2016-2-19-35
