Lobbying potential and social profile of local legislatures (a case study of the Perm region)

The article considers the issues of lobbying the interests of private business within representative bodies of local government. The main social and professional groups acting as lobbyists of local business interests in municipal legislatures are identified. The professional level and loyalty degree of these groups as local lobbying groups are evaluated.
