Competition or cooperation: the dual nature of economic relations between the USА and China in the context of globalization

The article analyzes the contradictory nature of US-China relations in financial and economic spheres. Quite common is the view that the US and China are the only two states that can claim the status of economic superpowers in the current system of international relations. Interstate relations between them (especially economic ones) are of great importance for the entire world community. Official diplomatic relations between the US and China were established only in 1979.
