About the Journal

"Bulletin of Perm University. Political Science" is a scientific journal publishing research articles investigating topics in the field of Political Science and research digests. The journal's aim is to ensure a political discussion at the level that meets the standards of international political science.

The journal accepts for submission original scientific articles, reviews of current problems of political science in Russian and English for first publication in the Journal and which are not considered for publication elsewhere and have not already been published elsewhere.

Section Policies

The sections of the journal are formed in accordance with the list of scientific specialties in political science, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation of February 24, 2021, namely:

- History and theory of politics

- Political institutions, processes, technologies

 - Public administration and sectoral policies

 - International relationships

Since 2010, the journal has been included in the List of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences (Higher Attestation Commission list) should be published.

The journal is included in the national information and analytical system "Russian Science Citation Index" (RSCI) and is available at the Elibrary.

The journal is included in Ulrich's Periodicals Directory - a bibliographic database, in such foreign libraries and databases like EBSCO (USA) Library of Congress (USA), WorldCat, Google Scholar.

Among Russian libraries and databases, the journal is represented in the IPRbooks Electronic Library System, "Lan" Electronic Library System, National Digital Resource "Rukont" and a scientific electronic library CyberLeninka.

Publication ethics

Publication ethics is based on the provisions of the Declaration of the Association of Scientific Editors and Publishers "Ethical Principles for Scientific Publishing", as well as the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The editors of the journal hold editors to the highest professional and ethical standards, guaranteeing intellectual property rights and respect for the intellectual independence of authors.

To this end, the editors organize a double-blind review of manuscripts with the involvement of independent highly qualified reviewers.

Simultaneously, the authors bear full responsibility for the research results presented in the article and the originality of the manuscript.

Publication fees are not charged, royalties are not paid.
