This issue of the journal marks its anniversary – the first collection of scientific papers, "Geography and Tourism," was prepared by the staff of the Perm State University Tourism Department 15 years ago. In 2018, the collection became a peer-reviewed journal of the same name. Issue 2/2019 is the 20th issue prepared by the Perm State University Tourism Department.This issue includes contributions from academic researchers, faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and business professionals from Moscow, Perm, Kirov, Kungur, St. Petersburg, Saransk, Saratov, and Tyumen.The articles examine issues of tourism theory and practice, as well as the development of specific types of tourism abroad and in Russian regions and municipalities. Several articles analyze trends in hospitality, territorial marketing, route planning in the natural environment, and the design of museum spaces and excursion products.The journal will be of interest to those working on tourism and service issues in Russia and internationally.
