The demographic factor is paramount in ensuring stable and secure development. Non-uniform distribution of thepopulation, low population density, depopulation, and migration are key issues in the spatial development of the country. From thisstandpoint, of particular interest is the Asian part of Russia, a strategic macro-region with a vast spatial and natural-resource potential,occupying a special geopolitical position and characterized by low population density.The relevance of this study is associated with the increasing role of demographic challenges in the socio-economic developmentof the region, requiring a comprehensive analysis to find solutions. The article analyzes the main demographic processes in the regionsof the Asian part of Russia: – birth rate, mortality, and migration. The study of these processes, their dynamics, trends, and factors, isaimed at analyzing the current demographic situation in the region.Downloads
