Abstract

In recent years, the topic of the Russian diaspora has acquired the status of an independent scientific field within the framework of literary and cultural studies. The study of the history of Russian culture in China, the reasons for the emergence and stages of development, the characteristics of the content and form of works, the principles of its functioning and ways of interacting with Chinese culture have now become extremely relevant, due to globalization processes occurring in the modern world, the destruction of ideological barriers, mutual the interest of both countries in the history and culture of each other. Relying on the works of Russian and Chinese studies, the authors show that Harbin’s Russian culture synthesized in itself certain features characteristic of both Russian classical culture and traditional culture of China.
