Abstract

The Taymyr wild reindeer population is an integral part of the ecosystems of Northern Central Siberia and is an attractive tourist destination. Currently, it serves as one of the main sources of food and well-being for the indigenous peoples of Taymyr and Northern Evenkia. In 2024, aerial surveys of wild reindeer were conducted. As a result of the study, migration routes of tagged wild reindeer individuals in 2024 and summer pasture locations were established. During the aerial surveys, clusters of mass animal aggregations were identified, and their numbers and age-sex structure were assessed.
