History of the Journal

In 2006-2014 a series of proceedings of scientific conferences (schools-seminars of young scientists) held by the Department of Biogeocenology and Nature Protection of Perm University in 2006 ("Anthropogenic Dynamics of Nature"), 2009-2014 ("Anthropogenic Transformation of Nature") were published.

The Journal "Anthropogenic Transformation of Nature" began to be published in 2015. In the period from 2015 to 2018, it published extended versions of the best (selected) materials of the international school-seminar of young scientists "Anthropogenic transformation of nature", dedicated to the memory of N.F. Reimers and F.R. Shtilmark.

Since 2018, the Proceedings of the International School-Seminar of Young Scientists dedicated to the memory of N.F. Reimers and F.R. Shtilmark (2019 – "Problems of Anthropogenic Transformation of Nature"; in 2020 – Proceedings was not published; since 2021 – "Ecological Safety in Conditions of Anthropogenic Transformation of Nature") is published as a separate independent edition and has no relation to the Journal "Anthropogenic Transformation of Nature". They should be considered as two different independent publications.

Since 2019, the Journal "Anthropogenic Transformation of Nature" mainly publishes original (research) papers and review articles. Short communications are published sporadically. The number of articles in the issue is reduced to 5-10.

Starting from 2021, the Journal "Anthropogenic Transformation of Nature" publishes two issues per year.
