       7. EDITORIAL PROCESS

All the specifics of the editorial process are described in detail in the Regulation of Peer Reviewing section. Generally, the editorial process is as follows:

After receiving the manuscript, the editors conduct an initial review to ensure it meets the submission requirements. This review is completed within 7 days. The editors then notify the author whether the article has been accepted for review or rejected.

The manuscript is then submitted to reviewers. The review must be completed within 28 calendar days. The review must include one of the following decisions:

  • recommend the manuscript for publication in its presented form (without comments);
  • recommend for publication only if the reviewer's comments are taken into account;
  • reject the submitted manuscript.

Once prepared, the review is submitted to the Editorial Board, which forwards it to the author for review. If the review requires corrections to the submitted materials, the Author(s) must revise the article within no more than two months.

The article, revised by the author, is sent for re-review.

The editors conduct no more than two rounds of review for each manuscript.

Once an article is accepted for publication, the author receives notification. Subsequently, the managing editor, executive secretary, or other editorial staff members work with the author to agree on the final layout of the article for the Journal issue.
