The education system as a key factor ensuring Russia's self-sufficiency

Abstract

The "return of Russia to the bosom of world civilization" promised by the reformers did not take place. Instead, our country was drawn into a war with the countries of the capitalist core, which Russia has no right to lose. It is possible to survive this war only if the country has the ability to independently resist a powerful enemy, does not depend on external accidents, in general, on any unpredictable factors. In other words, in order to win the unfolding battle, self-sufficiency for Russia is not just desirable, but vital. The education system that arose in Russia on the ruins of the Soviet one does not meet this need. This system is aimed at the formation of a personality adapted to solving narrow problems. However, the pragmatic orientation of education, which has justified itself in the "civilized world", is historically counterproductive, since it does not allow for a flexible response to changes in technology. It is necessary to restore the Soviet system of education in its fundamental foundations, because only it makes it possible to ensure Russia's self-sufficiency in the near and distant future.
