Abstract

The experimental investigation of water solution of potassium alkali flow in vertical plane layer under influence of electromagnetic force have been occurred. The research is initiated by the problem of non-conductive particles separation. The generation of the force is occurred by interaction of electric current applied to solution and external direct magnetic field. The influence of the electromagnetic force allows to localized non-conductive particles and except them from mean flow. The method of particles concentration measurement have been successfully developed and allied. The results obtained from ultrasonic and optic measurements are in the good agreement.
