The article analyses the world around the child in “Little Lord Fauntleroy” by F.H. Burnett. In F.H. Burnett’s latter works much attention is given to the dynamics of child’s inner world interruction with the world around. In “Little Lord Fauntleroy” the inner world of a kind, loving and noble child becomes the focus of attention with its ability to change its environment and even “bring-up” the adults and improve the reality. This improvement includes breaking the social boundaries of the “small” world (the Earl’s Castle) and national stereotypes of the “big” world (the USA the Great Britain).Published
