THE REGIONAL TOURIST-RECREATIONAL SYSTEM OF THE KIROV REGION IN THE TOURIST-RECREATIONAL SPACE

Abstract

The article is devoted to determining the place of the Kirov region in the tourist and recreational space of the Russian Federation. Regional tourist and recreational systems of the Russian Federation compete not only at the international but also at the domestic level. Each region has a certain set of prerequisites for the development of RTRS, and as a result of its different level of development. To determine the level of development of RTRS were used indicators characterizing the tourist arrival, the work of collective means of accommodation, as well as the consumption of services of the tourism industry. On the basis of the rating method, the regions of the "center", "semi-periphery" and "periphery" are distinguished. The Kirov region is referred to the regions of the "periphery" of the tourist and recreational space of the Russian Federation. The cluster approach as one of the mechanisms to overcome the crisis in the tourism sector of the region is proposed as a recommendation.
