ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES ANALYSIS: TERRITORIAL ASPECT (IN CASE OF PERM KRAI)

Abstract

The goal is a spatial analysis of the network of accommodation facilities and identification of territories with an insufficientl evel of their development in order to formulate recommendations for the creation of new tourist infrastructure facilities. The subject of the study is the territorial structure of the network of accommodation facilities.The information base of the study is the data of official statistics (Permstat) on accommodation facilities in the context of municipalities for 2019, information on the tourist route network existing in the region. As a result of the work carried out, territories with an insufficient level of development of the network accommodation facilities were identified. Such territories include Cherdyn, Berezniki and Usolye, Solikamsk, Chusovoy, Kudymkar, Gubakha, etc. The results of the work were used in the preparation of the Strategy for the Development of Tourism in the Perm Territory until 2035.
