PARKS AS A TOURIST RESOURCE OF THE CITY OF SARATOV

Abstract

Parks play an important role in aesthetic, cultural, educational terms, have a positive impact on the artistic image of the city, a comfortable living environment, their expressiveness has recently attracted tourists. The aesthetics of the park environment is aimed at shaping the space by means of harmonization, at creating vivid impressions. Recreation in the parks includes not only entertaining, but also educational in nature, their popularity is growing due to the growing interest of tourists. The deterioration of their landscape and ecological state remains a significant problem, which requires deepening methodological approaches to research. In connection with this problem, the study of functions, aesthetic appeal, planning features, landscape design for the purpose of tourist demand is of current importance. In this text, special attention is paid to the analysis of the central parks of the city of Saratov for the further development of the tourist space. The visualization method was used to study four city parks located in different areas and within walking distance of tourists. The characteristics of the park space showed the uniqueness of each object under study as new points of growth. Based on the collected material, they were ranked and recommendations were made that will help improve the attractiveness and attendance of parks, as well as the recognition of the city for tourism purposes.
