«PERM KRAI FOR CHILDREN»: COMPREHENSIVE SIGHTSEEING AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

Abstract

Educational tourism is a perspective type of tourism for children and youth in many countries of the world. The Perm Krai, as an economically developed region with al arge number of historical, cultural and industrial facilities, has the opportunity to organize training for children directly at the facilities with a good example or display of materials learned in the lessons. Such excursions have a pronounced meta-subject nature and help to expand knowledge in various subjects: physics, chemistry, literature, history, geography, and others. The program «Perm Krai for Children» is aimed at developing educational domestic tourism by developing new excursion programs for each age category (from 1 to 11 grades), involves certification of children’s tourist routes and excursions, creating a catalog of excursion educational routes, training books, training representatives of tour operators.
