FESTIVAL TOURISM OF SARATOV REGION

Abstract

In the last decade, Russia has increased interest in festivals that attract tourists and develop the cultural space of the region and Russian cities. To raise the image of the Saratov region, the issues of further development of festival tourism are considered, the classification of festivals by thematic focus, territorial coverage is given, the types of festivals held are revealed, the reasons for their holding are substantiated, examples of some events are given. To further attract tourists to the region offered festivals related to historical and cultural heritage.
