PARKS AND PARK SPACES: TERRITORIAL ORGANIZATION, RECREATIONAL USE

Abstract

The operation and reconstruction of functioning park spaces, the design of new parks must comply with urban planning regulations, but most importantly meet the changing needs of citizens and tourists. The article describes the current state and territorial organization of parks and parkspaces of the city of Perm, their recreational use. To assess the recreational comfort of the parks, a field study of city and district parks of the city was carried out, interviews of visitors, analysisof reviews left on sites. Also a table-matrix was developed for scoring the recreational comfort of parks in areas assessing the «availability of facilities» and «improvement of the territory». Based on the monitoring results, recommendations were formulated to improve the recreational component.
