Abstract

This article provides an example of studying the typology of the countries of the world based on the developed template, which includes four, features that сharacterizing the country under study: geographic, socio-economic, form of government, administrative-territorial structure. Using the basic concepts (geographical location, area, population, republican and monarchical forms of government, unitary and federal states, economically developed and developing countries) and data from electronic resources, be able to plot objects on a contour map, navigate in symbols, thematic maps and use them to describe countries in the future.
