PECULARITIES OF FIGURATIVE ROOTS OF THE KOMI-PERMYAK PROVERBS

Abstract

The article investigates the figurativeness of the Komi-Permyak proverbs which is considered to be not only the feature of the folk poetics but also a significant element of the semantic structure of a set utterance. The analysis of types of fugurative formulation of proverb expressions (usage of nature, household, bodily-somatic, mythological and other images) is made, the influence of the used figurative device on the evaluative and pragmatic resources of a proverb is discussed. Conclusions about the reflection of the national-ethnic component of the meaning in the figurative content of proverbs, about the influence of figurative devices on the polysemanticism of the paroemic utterance are made.
