ON SOME PROBLEMS OF THE DESCRIPTION OF FOLK NAMES OF PLANTS IN THE THEMATIC DICTIONARY

Abstract

The lexicon of the thematic group "Plants" is a specific material for the practice of lexicography mainly due to extralinguistic factors affecting the composition and characteristics of the lexical system. The article defines the range of problems associated with the lexicographical description of folk names of plants in a special thematic dictionary.
