THE METAPHORIZATION OF KOMI-PERM NAMING UNITS OF INSECTS IN LINGUOCULTURAL ASPECT

Abstract

The article is made on the material of the Komi-Perm language and devoted to the identification of motivational characteristics, implementing the folk concepts associated with the microcosm of insects. An attempt is made to substantiate the symbolically stressed representatives of the class (cheran 'spider', toi 'louse', serov 'nit' etc.). Onomasiological analysis of entomological vocabulary shows that the secondary nomination is often based on its external features and physiological characteristics of the insect.
