Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the professor activity content, who provides the guidance of the student's research. The research management shall be considered as a kind of activity, in the course of which the functions of education, upbringing and tutorship are realized in a complex. The author pays attention to the complexity of combining these functions and the immaturity of a whole series of methodical procedures for its progress.
