Abstract

Reminiscences to Sandro Botticelli's art create the image of Dinny as the main character and characterize the conflict within the personal interactions of characters. On the in hand, Dinny is similar in portrait and moral essence to Botticelli's women images. On the other hand, ironical writer's interpretation as well as fixating true lady's features in Dinny's portrait made by contemporary artist let us characterize Galsworthy's ideal character.
