The material composition of the vendian deposits in the area of the Rassolnaya river in the Vishersky diamond-bearing area

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the mineral composition, structural and textural features of vendian rocks in the area of the Rassolnaya кiver in the Vishersky diamond-bearing area. Based on the results of a comprehensive study, the composition of the rocks of the Ilyavozhskaya and Kocheshor formations was clarified. The rocks of the Ilyavozhskaya formation are sandstones with interlacing of clay siltstones. The rocks of the Kocheshor formation are various sandstones, siltstones and mudstones.
