Abstract

The processes of precipitation and flotation recovery of scandium (III) ions by anionogenic surfactants alkylbenzenesulfonic acid and oxyphos B at different concentrations and components ratios have been studied. The influence of medium acidity and stirring time on the metal ion extraction was considered. The precipitate of scandium with alkylbenzenesulfonic acid was isolated preparatively and analysed by methods of thermogravimetric, elemental and chemical analysis, the composition of the compound was established. Conditions for quantitative flotation of scandium (III) ions with oxyphos B were found.
