Changes in «politics of memory» of the Post-Soviet Russia's allies after 2014

The article examines the dynamics of historical politics of the official authorities of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict of 2014. The author determines general tendencies in the politicization of the past in the countries under consideration and defines the image of the "enemy" in official interpretations of history and in speeches of political leaders, which is correlated with the current foreign policy of the countries. The paper focuses on changes in the politics of memory after 2014, which have been observed in the aspirations of political elites to "redouble" their statehood and to introduce new "national" symbols.
