The article examines the key aspects of S.M. Gandlevsky's lyric character in a transitional state, using the example of his poem "When the yellowing beer is worrying..." from 1979. The research focuses on an under-researched aspect of S. M Gandlevsky’s poetics, namely subjectivity. During times of spiritual crisis, the invariant characteristics of the 'I' become more clearly revealed, allowing us to identify features of his poetic style for future study. This issue is significant because underground poetry has only recently been studied by philologists and there is a lack of research on this "second culture". The authors conclude that even during times of turmoil, there are invariant characteristics to the lyric subject. Key words: S. M. Gandlevsky, underground, crisis, invariant, poetics, subjectivityDownloads
