In the following research, by selecting several poems of Iranian intellectual poet Mohammad Farrokhi Yazdi we have worked to find out his political and social concerns during his lifetime. In addition to his literary and journalistic activities, Farrokhi Yazdi, known as a poet whose lips “were stitched together”, is considered one of the prominent political figures of his era. Studying the political concepts in his poems, we found out that he focused on showing the terrible living conditions and investigating problems of peasants and farmers. Farrokhi Yazdi was the defender the rights of people, above all – farmers. By being a member of the National Assembly, he tried to help to improve the living conditions of his compatriots. This Iranian patriotic poet has reflected the nation's protest against the government in his social political poems and purposed to rescue Iran and Iranians. He was killed during fighting against injustice, gaining freedom of speech and the press, protesting the ruler of the time, oppression of peasants, poverty and class differences in the society and the prevailing conditions of the country.Downloads
