Impact of the “Moscow Text” on the Image of the Hero in Modern Russian Literature

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the connection between the “Moscow text” and the image of its hero in works of modern Russian authors: S. Minaev, R. Senchin, D. Glukhovsky, I. Shipnigov. The features of the inhabitant of the capital are revealed thanks to the toponymy of his life. The research characterizes Moscow as the main plot-forming unit that influences on portrait characteristics of the characters. The main goal of the article is to identify the features of creating the image of heroes in the context of an “urban text”.
