Abstract

The article studies the intermedial analysis of the novels «The Warden» and «The Barchester Towers» by Anthony Trollope and their film version. The research focuses on the study of the connections between literary works and their film adaptations, the analysis of the influence of cinematic interpretation on the perception and understanding of literary works. The results of the study make it possible to identify signs of intermediality in novels, as well as similarities and differences between a literary work and its cinematic versions.
