Abstract

The formation of crustal eclogite complexes occurs under conditions of constant interaction of successive (joint) processes of metamorphism and metasomatism. Progressive thermobaric processes lead to the formation of contrasting series of rocks in eclogite-glaucophane shale complexes. At the retrograde stage of development, thermobaric processes are joined by the phenomena of metasomatism, causing petrochemical changes in the rocks of the complex. There are two independent lines of allochemical changes associated with the removal of the main chemical elements from the main chemical elements - Fe, Mg, Ca, Al and the replacement of eclogites with carbonate-bearing mineral associations.
