The data of scanning electron microscopy give the opportunity for detaled investigation of oil-bearing sandstones textures with analysis of particle sizes in sample framework and forms of kaolinite textures of “book-homes” types in polish samples. The most typical characteristics of oil collectors are unimodal distributions of sandy grains and perfect microtextures of kaolinite
