Abstract

Seregovsky saltworks in the European North-East existed for more than 300 years. The purpose of the work: to give a brief historical background on the production of salt from underground brines in the area of the salt-diapir; to show the high significance of the Seregovsky salt industry as the first industrial factory for the Komi region, as a unique historical and mining-geological site, having the status of a cultural heritage site of federal significance
