Abstract

Regions of uncompensated subsidence (OUTS) are structures of the sedimentary cover-platform. Their origin is closely linked to the geodynamic development of the folded areas corresponding to the platform. Formations of the transgressive-inundational-regressive sedimentation cycle participate in the construction of OUTS. A vertical sequence of ONT forms of platform (Kama-Kinel trough system) and orogenic (Pre-Ural trough system) classes representing the oil and gas-bearing stage is presented: oil-generating (Domanikovaya) – oil and gas reservoir (carbonate and terrigenous clinoform) – oil-screening (halogen, etc.). Of particular interest is the paragenesis of internal and salt-bearing sediments in the oil and gas basins that control the main hydrocarbon reserves. The possibility of the rapid influence of gas hydrates on the accumulation of thick salt-bearing layers is considered. Two types of salt-bearing strata are distinguished within the ONT: shallow-water (shelf zone) and deep-water (axial zone)
