Abstract

The results of synchronous thermal (DSC/TG) analysis of limestones are presented. Limestones are represented by organogenic-detrital and pelitomorphic varieties. Thermal analysis on a small sample and low heating rate demonstrates, along with the pronounced endothermic effect of calcium carbonate dissociation, the effect of lime crystallization.
