The proposed article presents the results of a study of the category of linguistic tolerance as a conflict resolution technology. The relevance of the technological approach to the study of this category is due to the fact that this allows it to be used directly in the prevention, settlement and resolution of conflicts. The article provides a definition of linguistic tolerance as a type of communication language, which is characterized by respect, acceptance, as well as the use of soft ways to influence an opponent whose behavior does not contribute to the resolution or settlement of a conflict (conflict resolution). The author describes a strategic step-by-step scheme, as well as conflict resolution technology, which is available for non-professionals in the field of conflictology to master. The technology consists of five stages: listening to the side; concretization, paraphrasing and summarizing the "story" told by the second party to the conflict; reflection of the interlocutor's condition; clarification of the strategic priorities of the parties to the conflict in the current situation (values, goals, interests) and the problems that caused it; search for a solution to the conflict situation. The article provides examples of typical phrases used at each stage of the technology, as well as reveals the functions of discursive markers that are used in the conflict resolution process. The author of the article draws attention to the possible difficulties associated with the use of linguistic tolerance technology, depending on the specifics of the conflict situation: lack or lack of respect for the party to the conflict; unwillingness or inability to listen to the opponent; absent or insufficiently shown patience towards a person in a state of conflict. In conclusion, conclusions are drawn about the effectiveness of the above-described technology if the problems arising from its application are translated into tasks and solved sequentially.Downloads
